"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing."- Albert Einstein

Lets be curious to the why in every thing I do.

You can’t change the world, why not?
You can’t eat that, why not?
You can’t go there, why not?
You can’t do the dishes at 3:41, why not?
You can’t combine yoghurt and whipped cream, why not?

I always wondered why people are so obstructing to themselves. When you doubt the common you can come up with something new.

When I was building tree houses about ten years ago I was thinking about the best, quickest and easiest way to make them. Often I spend more time thinking about that, than the actual building. That can be a good thing or a bad thing. I think it will be in de middle, but this illustrates something about me. I always want to analyze things to make the right decisions. At my high school I knew in VWO 3 that I wanted to study Industrial Design. This helped me to pass for my VWO exams, the motivation that there is something to fight for. I made it with one year delay.
Nowadays I rarely think about building tree houses but I’m still busy with constructing, building, thinking, analyzing and playing. The problems/situations are a little bit bigger but so am I.

Personal Development Plan

For this study you have to maken a Personal Development plan. In this plan you can see what I wanted to develop. I personally think that the PDP isn’t that useful in this first semester cause everything is new, you have to learn the study. How you get new information and knowledge. I think that my next PDP will be much more focused on what I want to achieve as a designer. The PDP can be really useful but you have to look in your PDP through the whole semester otherwise you are going to lose you original goals, like I did this semester, it was not that I didn’t wanted it to do it but there were so many things I forget this PDP until I started with the showcase.
